He is the honorary president of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, honorary president of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, deputy chief engineer of major national new drug creation science and technology projects, and leader of the national key discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine Internal Medicine.

At the symposium, Zhang Boli said that Guangxi's traditional Chinese medicine resources are leading the country, and it has the national platform of Fangchenggang International Medical Open Experimental Zone, which provides excellent conditions for conducting medical research. It is recommended to strengthen the layout, establish a large platform for modern traditional Chinese medicine research, establish a large base for the cultivation of authentic Chinese medicinal materials, cultivate large industrial varieties, deeply tap the unique resources of Zhuang and Yao medicine, and carry out international cooperative research and application of traditional Chinese medicine for ASEAN.

Before the conference and symposium, on the afternoon of August 8, Zhang Boli also went to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine to listen to introductions on the TCM health industry, the development of TCM and Zhuang and Yao medicine, the school's scientific research achievements, affiliated hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, and put forward relevant opinions and suggestions.

Qian Qian was born in March 1962 in Anqing, Anhui Province. He is a rice molecular geneticist.

Qian Qian is known as the "decoder" of the rice code. He is engaged in the creation and breeding of excellent rice germplasm resources. Together with his team, he has discovered nearly 50,000 materials that can be used for gene function research and genetic analysis, established a parent resource library of more than 4,000 high-yield, high-quality and highly resistant rice molecular breeding, and constructed the world's first set of indica rice background near-isogenic lines, providing support for my country's breeding innovation.

my country is the country of origin of rice, and Guangxi is an important rice producing area in my country. It has rich rice germplasm resources, ranks first in the country in terms of wild rice resources, and cultivates rice resources that account for about one-sixth of the country's total.
