Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported A-class vehicles
Recently, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products. From now on, some imported A-class cars with production dates between May 29, 2018 and December 19, 2019 will be recalled, totaling 1,691 vehicles.
Due to deviations in the software development process of the instrument cluster control unit, the rear fog light symbol in the instrument cluster of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may not meet the requirements of the national standard regarding rear fog light symbols.
Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will upgrade the instrument control unit software for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers.
This recall is an expansion of the recall campaign "Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported vehicles" issued in June 2024.
Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported Cayenne series vehicles
Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products. From August 31, 2024, some imported Cayenne series vehicles produced between May 9, 2024 and June 19, 2024 will be recalled, totaling 3,780 vehicles.
For some vehicles covered by this recall, due to the use of incorrect raw materials in the forging process, cracks may form on the upper trailing arm on the left side of the front axle, affecting the vehicle's handling, increasing the risk of vehicle collision, and posing a safety hazard.
Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized dealers to replace the upper trailing arm on the left side of the front axle for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
