In accordance with the unified deployment of the whole city, on August 9, the Miyun District Report Meeting of the Beijing Municipal Propaganda Team for Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the Study (Expanded) Meeting of the District Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Group were held. Yu Weiguo, Secretary of the Miyun District Party Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhao Jingyun, President and Chairman of the Editorial Committee of Beijing Daily, a member of the Beijing Municipal Propaganda Team for Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, delivered a report. Xi Chengpo, Chairman of the Miyun District CPPCC, and Yu Jianhua, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended the meeting.
Zhao Jingyun deeply interpreted the connotation and spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee from four aspects: "This plenary session is a very important meeting held at a critical period when China's modernization is comprehensively advancing the building of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation", "Deeply study and understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee", "Comprehensively and accurately understand the major measures for further comprehensively deepening reform proposed in the "Decision", and "Go all out to implement the spirit of the plenary session". Yu Weiguo pointed out that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was a very important meeting held at a critical period of comprehensively promoting the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization. The "Decision" reviewed and adopted by the plenary session is a general mobilization and general deployment to promote the comprehensive deepening of reforms in breadth and depth on the new journey in the new era. It fully reflects the historical initiative of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core to improve and develop the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities. Yu Weiguo emphasized that we must further deepen our understanding of the great significance, fully understand the political, theoretical, strategic, world and practical significance of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and truly transform the spirit of the plenary session into a powerful driving force for promoting reform and development in the entire district. We must work hard to understand the essence of the spirit, take the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and the "Decision" as the top priority, deeply understand and grasp the theme, major principles, major measures and fundamental guarantees for further deepening reform in an all-round way, and promote the spirit of the plenary session into the mind and heart. We must seek results in carrying out publicity and lectures, and the members of the district party committee's publicity team must do a solid job of publicity in accordance with the arrangements for the publicity activities. All towns, streets (regions), departments and units should combine their own realities and widely carry out various forms of learning, publicity and lecture activities. Leading cadres should take the lead in carrying out publicity at the grassroots level, promote the spirit of the plenary session into enterprises, rural areas, government agencies, campuses, and communities, and ensure that the spirit of the plenary session is well known and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
