China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: Exports maintained rapid growth, with automobile exports in July increasing by nearly 20% year-on-year

Beijing News Shell Finance (Reporter Wang Linlin) On August 9, data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that the automobile exports in July were 469,000 units, a decrease of 3.2% month-on-month and an increase of 19.6% year-on-year; in the first seven months of this year, the automobile exports were 3.262 million units, a year-on-year increase of 28.8%.
In terms of vehicle types, in the first seven months of this year, the export volume of passenger cars was 2.738 million, a year-on-year increase of 30.1%; the export volume of commercial vehicles was 524,000, a year-on-year increase of 22.6%. In terms of power drive, in the first seven months of this year, the export volume of traditional fuel vehicles was 2.554 million, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%; the export volume of new energy vehicles was 708,000, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%. Among them, in terms of new energy vehicle exports, in the first seven months, the export volume of pure electric vehicles was 554,000, a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%; the export volume of plug-in hybrid vehicles was 154,000, a year-on-year increase of 1.8 times.
