On August 8, the reporter learned from the Municipal Education Bureau that Guiyang and Gui'an's schools for compulsory education in 2024 will soon complete the admission and supplementary enrollment of new students. After the work is completed, the education bureaus of each district (city, county) will hold a "Sunshine Class Division - On-site Student Random Class Division Conference" on August 19. "Sunshine Class Grouping" follows the double random principle, which mainly includes two steps: "random class grouping of students on site" and "random class entry of on-site class teachers":
Among them, on August 19, the Education Bureau of each district (city, county) held an "on-site student random class placement meeting" and invited deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, representatives of schools in the jurisdiction, parent representatives, etc. to supervise on the spot.
This work relies on the "Sunshine Class Grouping" system, and combines factors such as "gender", "duplicate names", "multiple births" and "physical disabilities" of new students in each school's "primary school admission" and "primary school to junior high school" to complete the random class grouping of students with one click through a computer program, ensuring that the total number of students in the same school, the same grade, and different classes does not exceed 2, thereby ensuring the randomness and fairness of student class grouping.
From August 20 to 25, the Education Bureau of each district (city, county) guided the compulsory education schools in their jurisdiction to carry out "on-site random class teacher conferences" in accordance with relevant requirements.
This work is carried out by each school through the "Sunshine Class Grouping" system, which randomly selects 5 parent representatives from each class and organizes them to come to the school for an on-site lottery to match the class teacher.
On that day, the school displayed and introduced the class teacher information, and randomly selected one parent representative from each class as the "lottery parent" through the system. The system then randomly generated the class lottery order, and the "lottery parent" of each class personally grabbed the random number according to the class lottery order, and matched the corresponding class teacher according to the random number. The parent representative supervised the work throughout the process, and the school immediately announced the class teacher assignment results.

From August 20 to 25, the system will send information about students' classes and class teachers to parents' mobile phones in the form of text messages. Parents can also log in to the "Guiyang Compulsory Education Admission Service Platform" system to check the results.
Note: After the class division is completed, new students in the starting grade cannot be adjusted and cannot transfer schools in the first semester. If the class structure needs to be adjusted due to special circumstances, the school must formulate an adjustment plan and submit it to the competent education administrative department for approval before proceeding.
