On the morning of August 9, Huayuan Street, Funing County organized the children of employees to carry out a youth study and practice activity with the theme of "Walking into the 'Rice Road' and Experiencing the Charm of Science and Technology" at COFCO Rice (Yancheng) Co., Ltd.
This activity aims to broaden the children's horizons, cultivate their sentiments and improve their comprehensive quality through entertaining and educational means. At the beginning of the activity, the guide led the children into the COFCO Cultural Gallery, where he explained to the children how rice is screened, cleaned, dried and milled to become the familiar white rice.
Afterwards, everyone came to the intelligent production workshop, and the children followed the guide to visit the production line. The guide gently pressed a few buttons in the control room, and the processing machine could automatically produce. The conveyor belt and the robotic arm worked perfectly together to deliver the packaged rice to everyone without any error. The children were amazed at the magical "magic". With the explanation of the guide, the students learned more about rice processing.
After visiting the smart workshop, the children listened to the life story of Grandpa Yuan Longping in the study area and recited famous sayings related to grain together. Everyone said that they finally understood the meaning of "every grain of rice is hard-earned" and will cherish food more in the future.
At the end of the activity, the children tasted rice made from three different varieties of rice. The naturally delicious high-quality rice allowed everyone to experience the original taste. Research leads to thinking and learning. During the study tour of COFCO Rice, the children gained more knowledge and felt the charm of agricultural modernization.
