On August 8, Yunnan Radio and Television Station, with technological innovation as the core driving force, joined hands with Tencent Cloud and other well-known units to officially establish a new technology experimental center. The new technology experimental center consists of the "Artificial Intelligence and Audiovisual Presentation Laboratory", "Colorful Intelligence Data Laboratory" and "Pan-Security Laboratory", focusing on multiple cutting-edge new technology fields such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and secure transmission, and jointly driving the technological innovation and upgrading of the experimental center.
In this cooperation, Tencent Cloud will deeply participate in the construction of the artificial intelligence and visual presentation laboratory, take the integration of generative artificial intelligence and ultra-high-definition media as the innovation direction and goal, and build an artificial intelligence production platform that integrates creative production and application innovation. In combination with the regional characteristics of Yunnan, we will carry out the research and development of AI tools such as accurate recognition of ethnic languages and intelligent analysis of images and audio and video. We will carry out in-depth training and fine-tuning of AI models to highlight regional characteristics and support the integrated development of Yunnan's cultural and tourism industries.
With the continuous maturity of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and ultra-high-definition video, the radio and television industry is undergoing unprecedented changes. Facing new challenges in the industry, Yunnan Radio and Television Station has established a new technology experimental center, which will be committed to becoming a base for the research and promotion of new radio and television technologies in Yunnan Province, an incubator for industrial development, and a highland for talent training, so as to improve production efficiency and the quality of creative content.
So far, Yunnan Radio and Television has built the only integrated media communication matrix in the province that covers websites, mobile clients, home large-screen terminals and various social media. The communication method of mobile priority, online and TV station interaction, and linkage between large and small screens has become the norm;
As a digital transformation assistant for various industries, Tencent Cloud has long been committed to in-depth exploration of innovative applications of digital technologies in the media field, providing the media industry with vertical solutions such as content platform construction and content production. It has also successively launched products including media AI middle platform, media data middle platform, mobile development framework, media operation middle platform, intelligent content security review, etc., to provide impetus for the comprehensive upgrade of media organizations.
Prior to this, Yunnan Radio and Television Station and Tencent Cloud cooperated to build a colorful integrated media ecological data platform with Yunnan's local biodiversity, helping the province's integrated media platforms to improve the efficiency of content construction, information processing and release. At the same time, relying on AIGC, big models and other technologies, they created the "Xiao Caiyun" series IP, the first virtual anchor in Yunnan. The "Colorful Cloud" + "Colorful Cloud TV" APK large and small screens are linked, and multiple channels and products provide high-quality audio-visual content; in the future, the two parties will also rely on the colorful integrated media data platform and the construction foundation of the virtual digital person "Xiao Caiyun", combined with a series of AI tools such as Tencent Hunyuan, to jointly carry out research on intelligent tool applications and platform operations.
Currently, Tencent Cloud has served more than 45 radio and television media organizations, helping media companies to effectively revitalize media assets and reshape the value of content.
