Affected by the heavy rain, communication poles and base stations in many counties and districts of our city were severely affected. 157 stations in Huachi County, Heshui County, Huan County and Ning County were without power, 7 OLT stations were interrupted, 102 physical base stations were out of service, 90 4G stations were out of service, and 27 5G stations were out of service.

Faced with the sudden natural disaster, Qingyang Mobile Branch responded quickly, immediately activated the flood season emergency response mechanism, set up an emergency rescue team, and dispatched more than 140 rescue personnel, more than 70 rescue vehicles, and more than 200 oil engines to fight floods and ensure smooth communications. As of 16:00 on August 9, more than 80 base stations had been successfully connected, effectively alleviating the communication interruption problem caused by heavy rain.

Pang Yongqiang, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Qingyang Mobile Branch, said, "In the next step, China Mobile Qingyang Branch will continue to pay attention to weather changes, maintain the efficient operation of the emergency mechanism, and continuously improve the emergency response speed and service quality through "human defense + technical defense", so as to provide the people in Qingyang area with better quality and more reliable communication guarantee."
