Zhang Yan, Secretary General of the China Leather Association, Wang Zuo, Second-level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Li Xuejie, Second-level Inspector of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Ma Yue, Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and city leaders Jia Hongxun, Yang Jie, Du Jun, Zhao Jianming, Liu Shimin, Yan Wenxia, Han Zhiqiang, and Qin Yun attended the meeting.

Du Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Xinji Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, said in his speech that the leather industry is the most distinctive traditional industry in Xinji. In recent years, Xinji City has deepened school-local cooperation by holding a series of activities such as fashion week, trend release, design competition, and school-enterprise cooperation, so that more resources, better talents, and newer concepts can be gathered in Xinji. In the future, Xinji City will create a comprehensive fashion platform for communication, display, and trade through more diverse and rich activities, promote the further transformation and upgrading of the leather and fur industry, and build momentum for the development of Xinji City's leather specialty industry.

In this autumn and winter clothing trend release conference, local clothing companies gathered together, with product categories covering leather clothing, fur clothing, fur clothing, down jackets, parkas, cashmere clothing, etc., focusing on themes such as Chinese aesthetics, intangible cultural heritage innovation, and fashion trends, "bringing forth new ideas from the old" in terms of quality and taste, and presenting a wonderful show of high-quality fabrics and creative designs "running in both directions".

The event also awarded prizes to the winning works of the Xinji City Second "Yellow Crane Tower" Cup Fashion Design Competition. There were more than 300 works from seven universities including Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Wuhan Textile University, and Hebei University of Science and Technology. Finally, 20 outstanding works were selected. At the meeting, the leaders and guests present awarded the winners together.

Zhao Yihui, the gold medal winner of the competition, said: "The design inspiration of the Heart Without Boundaries series comes from classical Chinese landscape paintings. The natural texture and flow of mountains, rivers, clouds and cliffs are integrated into the high-end materials of leather and fur, breaking through the soft boundaries between tradition and modernity, hardness and softness. We hope to lead a cross-border journey of culture and fashion, so that traditional art can be revitalized in modern society."
Xin Dongsheng, director and professor of the Department of Clothing Engineering at Hebei University of Science and Technology, said: "As participants in the two Xinji competitions, we have witnessed the growth and expansion of the fashion design competition. This competition has been greatly improved in terms of scale, number of participants, and works. In the future, we will continue to deepen cooperation in designer incubation, high-quality results conversion, and talent delivery, and cultivate and deliver more high-skilled talents that are suitable for the development needs of the local industry and better match the job ability requirements for the leather clothing industry in Xinji, and provide talent guarantee for the sustainable development of the clothing industry in our province."
