Kaisheng Technology said on an investor interaction platform in July last year that it had jointly developed UTG glass technology with Huawei and had received small batch orders for use in related mobile phones. A person from the company's securities department also recently revealed to the media that the company's UTG glass has been introduced into the resource pool of many downstream customers, some production lines have been operating normally, and production line construction is currently continuing according to market demand.

IDC data shows that in the second quarter of 2024, China's foldable screen mobile phone market maintained a triple-digit year-on-year growth rate, with shipments reaching 2.57 million units. With the release of new-generation foldable screen products by more manufacturers, and the increase in new foldable screen product lines by manufacturers such as Honor and Xiaomi, it is expected that China's foldable screen mobile phone market will continue to grow rapidly in the second half of the year, and its development will be better than the global foldable screen mobile phone market.
