Jingchu.com (Hubei Daily Online) (Reporter Lin Shan, Correspondent Chen Kemao) On the morning of August 8, Jiangxia District Hongqi Avenue School held an unveiling ceremony, marking the official opening of this nine-year school. This new school, which covers an area of more than 46 acres and has a total construction area of 35,858 square meters, is designed to have 36 classes and provide 1,620 places, injecting new vitality into Jiangxia education.
It is reported that Jiangxia Hongqi Avenue School is equipped with 36 smart classrooms and 32 modern function rooms, as well as a 300-meter circular track, a 5,000-square-meter sports field and 5 basketball and volleyball courts, which can hold a variety of events and sports activities at the same time. The school has gathered 31 outstanding teachers selected by the Jiangxia District Education Bureau and established three famous teacher working groups for Chinese, mathematics and English. The teachers have developed one-to-one learning plans based on the students' actual family situations.
In September this year, the school will welcome the first batch of 580 students, including 307 first-year students, and set up 6 teaching classes. At the same time, the school will also accept more than 200 students diverted from Wenhua Road Primary School to provide them with a high-quality educational environment.
A relevant person in charge of the Jiangxia District Education Bureau said that the official opening of Hongqi Avenue School will further optimize the allocation of educational resources in Jiangxia District, improve the quality of regional education, and provide quality education for more students.
