The reporter saw from the list of finalists of the 8th Zhongshan Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition that a total of 22 companies in the startup group qualified for the city finals. The companies came from the fields of new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials, new energy, and new energy vehicles.

There are 70 companies in the growth group, mainly from the fields of new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection. The largest number of companies in the growth group are in the biomedicine category, with a total of 18 companies, accounting for about 26%. Among them are Dashi Pharmaceutical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., Guangdong Jiantbo Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Labruichen Biomedicine Co., Ltd., Daying Medical (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., Fanenkel Biotechnology (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. and other companies that have been established in Zhongshan for many years.

It is understood that the Zhongshan finals will be divided into start-up group and growth group, using a 7+5 on-site roadshow mode, that is, the participating companies will have 7 minutes for self-presentation and 5 minutes for on-site defense. Each link will be timed and reminded by the staff, and no overtime is allowed.

There are 7 judges in the city finals. The judges will score independently and announce the scores on the spot. The scores of participating companies will be announced on the spot. The results of the city finals will be based on the final score ranking of the roadshow and the due diligence situation.
