On August 8, BYD launched new products again, with two Haiyang Network vehicles launched simultaneously, the 2025 Haiyang Seal and Haiyang Seal 07DM-i were officially launched.

It is reported that the price of the four configuration models of the 2025 Haibao is between 175,800 yuan and 239,800 yuan. The price of the five configuration models of Haibao 07DM-i is between 139,800 yuan and 195,800 yuan.

It is worth noting that the "Double Leopard" models launched this time have completed two new technological upgrades, the e-platform 3.0 Evo and the fifth-generation DM, achieving a comprehensive upgrade of the product from efficiency to performance, safety to intelligence.

Specifically, the 2025 Seal is not only the first sedan built on BYD's e-platform 3.0 Evo, but also the BYD brand's first laser radar model.

It is reported that the 2025 Haibao is equipped with 13 BYD's world-first technologies, including CTB battery-body integration technology, efficient 12-in-1 intelligent electric drive system, intelligent current boost fast charging, intelligent terminal fast charging, intelligent voltage boost fast charging, full-scene intelligent pulse self-heating technology and iTAC intelligent torque control system.

At the same time, the new car is also equipped with a 1200V silicon carbide electronic control and uses the world's highest mass-produced motor at 23,000rpm, with a top speed of 240km/h, making it the fastest BYD model.

In terms of intelligence, the 2025 HaiSeal is equipped with the "Eye of God" advanced intelligent driving assistance system - DiPilot 300, equipped with laser radar, which can achieve high-speed navigation and city navigation.

As BYD's first mid-to-large sedan equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, the most prominent advantage of the Haibao 07DM-i is its fuel consumption. BYD said that under NEDC conditions, the Haibao 07DM-i's fuel consumption is as low as 3.4L/100km.

The maximum range when fully fueled and fully charged is 2,000 km.

In terms of intelligence, the entire range of SEAL 07DM-i is equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system as standard, which can achieve L2 level driving assistance functions.

It is reported that the new "Double Leopard" cars have arrived at BYD sales outlets, and consumers can test drive and make reservations at any time.

Recently, BYD just announced its production and sales data for July. The company's production and sales of new energy vehicles in July 2024 were 320,900 and 342,400 respectively, far exceeding the same period last year.

In July, BYD sold 30,000 new energy passenger vehicles overseas, continuing to lead Chinese automakers. It is reported that in addition to promoting the export of complete vehicles, BYD is also actively developing the international travel market. On July 31, BYD announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Uber, an international mobile travel and delivery technology company, and plans to launch 100,000 new BYD electric vehicles in key markets around the world to further expand the electric vehicle lineup on the Uber platform.
