The Moon River Town on the Grand Canal is well known to Tongzhou residents. During the May Day holiday this year, the Moon River Art Market was newly opened in the town, which quickly became a new popular check-in spot on the canal. Over the past three months since its opening, the market has been very popular, attracting not only 350 regular stalls, but also nearly 30,000 tourists every night on weekends.

At around 6pm on Saturday, as the sun gradually weakened, the popularity of the Moon River Art Market began to slowly gather. Entering the market, there are many tourists, but it gives people a very orderly feeling: in the dining area, food stalls are next to each other, and trash cans are placed in the middle of the road for tourists to discard disposable tableware; in the cultural and creative area, there are a wide variety of books, figurines, etc., and the experience of hand-painted, lacquer fans, and Hanfu is lively and innovative. "Bring your children here, a family of three can find delicious and fun things, and there are often changes every time you come. This kind of market is quite interesting." said Li Kang, a resident of Tongzhou who lives nearby.

Su Beibei, who is in her twenties, works as usual on weekdays and sells at the market on weekends. In the past three months, she has opened three shops in the market, selling green bean smoothies and spicy hot pot, and even asked her parents to help.
