On August 8, the Chongqing Convenient Supercharging City Construction Summit was held in Chongqing. Reporters learned from the meeting that by the end of July this year, among the 320,000 charging piles built in the city, there were 36,000 public charging piles and 286,000 personal charging piles, with an average car-to-pile ratio of about 2:1, which is better than the national average. In addition, there are about 500 supercharging stations under construction and completed in the city, ranking first in the country in terms of quantity and scale.

Reporters learned from the summit that in September last year, Huawei and Jiulongpo District launched the Huawei Empowerment Demonstration Zone cooperation project, deploying the "Yu Miao Charging and Supercharging Network", which uses the latest charging technology to fully charge a new energy vehicle in 10-15 minutes. So far, it has covered 11 districts and counties in our city, and has deployed in 8 cities outside the city, with a total of 80 supercharging stations built and nearly 1,000 site resources reserved.
At the summit that day, the Jiulongpo District Government and Huawei Digital Energy signed an agreement on the construction of a joint innovation center for intelligent charging networks. The two sides will complete the industrial chain, strengthen front-end R&D and manufacturing, and build a full-scale supercharging industry with "standardized design, digitalized operations, value-added services, integrated products, and large-scale networks." At the same time, Huawei Digital Energy signed convenient supercharging construction ecological cooperation agreements with a number of industry companies to jointly improve the supercharging industry chain and promote site coverage.
At the meeting, participating industry experts and corporate representatives also discussed the path of urban supercharging construction, supercharging commercial practices and ecological progress, and demonstrated integrated photovoltaic, storage and charging solutions, all-liquid-cooled supercharging technology achievements and operational results.

"To develop intelligent connected new energy vehicles, our city will improve hardware facilities such as charging stations and charging piles, optimize technology, network and other services, and build a first-class national convenient supercharging city." The person in charge of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission said that according to the "Chongqing New Energy Vehicle Convenient Supercharging Action Plan (2024-2025)", it is expected that our city will build more than 2,000 supercharging stations and more than 4,000 supercharging piles next year.
