Yangzi Evening News Network reported on August 8 (correspondent Yang Haixuan, Hu Shengwei, reporter Cheng Mo) The reporter learned from the Yangzhou Maritime Safety Administration that from January to July this year, the number of international ships entering and leaving Yangzhou Port reached 638 times, and the foreign trade cargo throughput reached 6.4338 million tons, of which the foreign trade export cargo volume was 1.2118 million tons, an increase of 395.02% year-on-year, achieving a quadrupling. The Yangzhou Maritime Safety Administration continues to play the role of maritime functions, actively innovates work measures, and continuously improves service capabilities, providing strong guarantees for the high-quality development of Yangzhou's open economy.
It is reported that since the beginning of this year, Yangzhou Maritime has introduced effective measures to create a fast channel for opening up to the outside world. Adhere to the paperless and "one-stop" handling of international ships entering and leaving the port, shorten the time limit for handling matters, and improve the efficiency of ship customs clearance; establish a regular communication and contact mechanism with the Municipal Port Office and inspection units to discuss the difficulties encountered in the development of the port; follow up on the opening of berths in the jurisdiction to the outside world, and guide enterprises to do a good job in opening-related work. At the same time, embedded credit management is implemented, and "government affairs + credit" tiered services are implemented. The list of government affairs handling requirements is comprehensively sorted out, and the notification and commitment of certification matters are promoted to promote shipping entities to follow the principle of good faith and make written commitments; the credit commitment of the non-cleaning cabin is implemented in the declaration of dangerous goods on board, and the turnover efficiency of ships at berthing and leaving is improved, and the business environment is continuously optimized.
Yangzhou Maritime also actively puts forward suggestions and advice, deeply participates in the high-quality development of the local water transport economy, and helps build the Yangzhou model of "Water Transport Jiangsu"; serves the construction of major local projects, supports the construction and renovation of docks in the jurisdiction, and supports the export of the "new three things" by water; practices the "three measures and three attractions" to promote the city's high-tech ship and marine engineering equipment industry chain to strengthen, supplement and extend the chain, connect universities to sign strategic cooperation agreements between universities and local governments, and host port economic development training courses to cultivate port economic talents.
In addition, relying on the integrated port and shipping coordination service platform, Yangzhou Maritime has accelerated the transformation of port and shipping information from isolated to open, and promoted the transformation of port production from traditional to intelligent; implemented safety maintenance for all ships with restricted berthing and unberthing in the jurisdiction, ensured the safety of water operations, and opened a "straight in, straight berthing, straight departure and straight exit" green channel for large river and sea vessels entering and leaving, effectively reducing transportation costs.
