Kirby further stated that against the backdrop of the Ukrainian army's attack on Kursk Oblast, Washington's position on the Ukrainian army's use of American weapons on Russian territory remains unchanged.
Kirby stressed: "There has been no change in our policy regarding the use of American weapons."
According to the Russian Satellite News Agency on August 8, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, commenting on the Ukrainian army's attack on Kursk Oblast, said that the US response to Kiev's arrogant behavior on Russian territory was outrageous.
"The US government's statement on the provocative and arrogant behavior of Kiev thugs on the territory of the Russian Federation is really outrageous," Antonov told reporters.
He added that Washington officials "once again did not utter a single word of criticism for their clients, nor a single word of sympathy for the victims of this tragedy."
