On August 5, updated information in the “Senior Management” column of China Everbright Bank’s official website showed that Wu Jian serves as the bank’s deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.

Wu Jian, male, was born in 1970. He is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Finance of the People's Bank of China and a senior researcher at the National System Restructuring Research Foundation. He graduated from the Department of Technical Economics and Systems Engineering of Tianjin University with a bachelor's degree in 1993, from the School of Management of Tianjin University with a master's degree in 1996, and from the Institute of Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences with a doctorate in economics in 1999.

He served successively as Assistant General Manager of Risk Management Department of China Construction Bank, General Manager of Risk Policy Management Department of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Director of China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. and the Bank dispatched by Central Huijin Investment Co., Ltd., General Manager of Risk Management and Internal Control Compliance Department/Legal Department of China Everbright Group Co., Ltd., Minister of Organization Department of Party Committee, General Manager of Human Resources Department, Vice President of Party School of Everbright Group, and General Manager of Training Center.

Previously, the former president Wang Zhiheng concurrently served as the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Everbright Bank. Wang Zhiheng has been the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Everbright Bank since December 2022, and the executive director and president of Everbright Bank since March 2023. In December 2023, Wang Zhiheng concurrently served as the party secretary while serving as the president of Everbright Bank. In May 2024, Wang Zhiheng was transferred to the position of deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Agricultural Bank of China.

Since December 2023, the position of deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Everbright Bank has been vacant until Wu Jian filled it.

China Everbright Bank was established in August 1992. It is a national joint-stock commercial bank approved by the State Council and the People's Bank of China. Its headquarters is located in Beijing. China Everbright Bank was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in August 2010 and on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2013.

Since the beginning of this year, China Everbright Bank has made adjustments to many senior executives.

On the evening of July 8, Everbright Bank announced that Hao Cheng replaced Wang Zhiheng, who was leaving for Agricultural Bank of China, and became the new president of Everbright Bank. On the same day, Everbright Bank also announced that the bank's former vice president Qu Liang resigned due to work adjustments and appointed Liu Yan as the new vice president. On July 26, according to the official WeChat account of Everbright Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Everbright Financial Leasing"), Qu Liang attended the company's activities in his new capacity as the party secretary of Everbright Financial Leasing.

After the adjustment, the latest senior management team of China Everbright Bank includes Party Committee Secretary and President Hao Cheng, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Discipline Inspection Committee Secretary Wu Jian, Party Committee Member and Vice President Qi Ye, Party Committee Member, Vice President and Risk Officer Yang Bingbing, Party Committee Member and Chief Financial Officer Liu Yan, and Board Secretary, Joint Company Secretary and Chief Business Director Zhang Xuyang.
