Original title: Improving the scale of industrial Internet applications
At present, the development of industrial Internet is characterized by high integration, intelligence and ecology, and gradually transforms from single-point application to deep integration of the whole industrial chain. my country's industrial Internet has been widely used in many fields such as manufacturing, energy, transportation, and medical care, promoting the coordination and efficient operation of upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and improving production efficiency and product quality.
Data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that by 2023, the scale of my country's core industrial Internet industries will reach 1.35 trillion yuan, and it has been fully integrated into 49 major categories of the national economy, covering all 41 major industrial categories. In terms of network architecture, platform construction and security assurance, a number of internationally competitive industrial Internet platforms and solutions have emerged, promoting the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. With the accelerated promotion of 5G commercialization, "5G+Industrial Internet" is achieving large-scale development and is an important support for my country's industrial digital transformation. At present, there are more than 340 industrial Internet platforms with a certain influence in my country, and the number of "5G+Industrial Internet" projects exceeds 10,000.
A series of relevant policies have been introduced to promote the rapid development and widespread application of the industrial Internet. The "Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Development of Industrial Internet through "Internet + Advanced Manufacturing"" clearly stated that by 2025, an infrastructure and industrial system with international competitiveness will be basically formed; by 2035, an internationally leading industrial Internet network infrastructure and platform will be built; by the middle of this century, the industrial Internet network infrastructure will fully support economic and social development. The "14th Five-Year Plan for Digital Economy Development" further requires the construction of a reliable, flexible and secure industrial Internet infrastructure to support the ubiquitous connection, elastic supply and efficient allocation of manufacturing resources. The implementation of these policies has provided strong support and guarantee for the development of my country's industrial Internet, promoted the construction and improvement of industrial Internet infrastructure, and comprehensively improved the digitalization level of the manufacturing industry.
There are still some problems in the development of the industrial Internet. For example, the lack of unified technical standards hinders cross-industry and cross-field collaboration and data sharing, the shortage of professional and technical personnel restricts the promotion of high-level applications, and data security and privacy protection issues need to be paid attention to. In this regard, to accelerate the large-scale application of the industrial Internet, we should promote it in multiple dimensions and multiple paths simultaneously.
Improve the top-level design and increase policy guidance and support. Further clarify the medium- and long-term strategic goals and development roadmap, and establish and improve the cross-departmental and cross-industry coordination and linkage mechanism and relevant laws and regulations and standards system. Local governments at all levels should guide and encourage enterprises to increase R&D investment in terms of financial support and tax incentives, and promote the commercial application of industrial Internet technologies. Adhere to "loose entry" to stimulate market vitality and "strict management" to regulate market order, create a fair and orderly business environment, attract more social capital to participate in the construction of the industrial Internet, and especially increase support for small and medium-sized enterprises to help them cross the digital divide.
Focus on standard setting and promote the development of industry norms. Unified standards and norms are crucial to the large-scale application of the industrial Internet. Inconsistent standards are like "language barriers", which will hinder the smooth flow of information and data between different systems and platforms. Although my country has made significant progress in the standardization of the industrial Internet and has issued a series of national standards, industry standards and group standards, the formulation of standards is not a one-time thing. With the rapid advancement of technology and the continuous expansion of application scenarios, it is necessary to keep pace with the times and continuously optimize and improve. We should strengthen international cooperation, promote the coordination of domestic and international standard setting, form common technical standards and interface specifications, and ensure interoperability and scalability between different enterprises and systems.
We must focus on technological innovation and promote industrial collaboration and integration. Enterprises should increase investment in research and development, actively explore and break through key core technologies such as 5G communications, edge computing, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing, and improve the performance and efficiency of the industrial Internet. Manufacturing companies, Internet companies, telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, etc. should strengthen cooperation, and through collaborative innovation among upstream and downstream companies in the industrial chain, form a situation of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win, and jointly promote the large-scale application of the industrial Internet. By promoting new models such as intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, and service extension, we can achieve a leap from traditional industry to intelligent industry. (Duan Zhongxian)
