Recently, the Temple of Heaven Park recommended three cool routes. The tourist areas of the three routes all pass under the shade of ancient trees or in the shade covered by corridors.
This newspaper (reporter Ren Shan) reported that recently, the Temple of Heaven Park has planned and recommended three cool sightseeing routes, and at the same time installed more than 70 new benches to make the park cooler and more comfortable for tourists.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Temple of Heaven Park, in addition to the main attractions on the central axis of the Temple of Heaven, the three cooling routes all choose to go under the shade of ancient trees or in the shade covered by corridors. All three routes include the ancient tree area on the west side of the Danbi Bridge, where there are more than 100 ancient trees, and chairs for tourists to rest under the shade of the trees. Tourists can visit the attractions on the central axis of the Temple of Heaven up close, and can also understand and feel the charm of the ancient trees as the "living cultural relics" of the Temple of Heaven. In addition, the Moon Gate, which is located on the west side of the Echo Wall and complements the Welcoming Cypress, is also a must-go for the three cooling routes. Avoid the lively atmosphere on the central axis of the Temple of Heaven, and pass through the Moon Gate accompanied by the Welcoming Cypress to feel the tranquility and comfort of the Temple of Heaven in summer.
Among the three routes, tourists entering and exiting from the East Gate can choose to walk through the Long Corridor to officially start the tour of the Temple of Heaven. The Long Corridor is not only shaded and ventilated, but also has its own benches, where tourists can take a short break, enjoy the scenery, look at the colorful paintings, or relax and chat. Tourists entering and exiting from the West Gate can not only feel the coolness of strolling under the Sophora japonica trees in the West Second Gate, but also add a trip to the Zhai Palace. The Zhai Palace is located in the West Second Gate of the Temple of Heaven and was the place where the emperor fasted before offering sacrifices in ancient times.
