On August 7, Red Star News reporter learned from the Longquanyi District Branch of the Chengdu Public Security Bureau that in order to ensure the safety of traffic on surrounding roads and the safety of people's travel, the traffic management department of the public security agency will take temporary traffic control measures on surrounding roads according to actual traffic conditions. The specific contents are as follows:
Traffic control measures
1. The traffic management department of the public security organ will take temporary traffic control measures in accordance with the law on roads such as Shudu Avenue East Section 1, Auto City Avenue Section 4, Sports Park Road, Lake South Road, Kuahu Road, Lake North Road, Dong'an Pavilion Road, Wenyun Street, Rongbao Lane, Yimahe Road, etc., according to the road traffic volume. Except for buses and shuttle buses, motor vehicles are prohibited from passing. Pedestrians and non-motor vehicles are requested to pass carefully according to road markings and signs.
2. Parking is prohibited on the main road (including auxiliary roads) of the east section of Shudu Avenue, the ramp of Checheng Interchange; Sports Park Road (from the underpass of Shudu Avenue to the intersection of Tuqiao Village); the east auxiliary road (from Checheng Interchange to Taodu Avenue) and the west auxiliary road (from Checheng Interchange to Shutu intersection) of the fourth section of Auto City Avenue.
3. Vehicles from residential areas within the restricted control area can enter and exit the temporary control area via the intersection of Auto City Avenue and Lakeside North Road or the intersection of Lakeside South Road and Kuahu Road.
4. In addition to the above traffic control measures, the traffic management department of the public security agency will take temporary traffic control measures and set up temporary traffic signs based on the actual traffic conditions.
It is expected that on the day of the concert, the East Section of Shudu Avenue (G4202 Chengdu Ring Expressway to Sports Park Road) may be congested. Citizens driving to the concert should pay attention to real-time traffic information and plan their travel routes in advance. They can choose to go to the parking area around Dong'an Lake Sports Park via Auto City Avenue, Taodu Avenue, Yidu Avenue, Chengluo Avenue, Chenglong Avenue, etc. Transit vehicles can detour via Yidu Avenue, Chengluo Avenue, Yurong Expressway, etc.
Travel by public transportation
1. Subway Line 2 → Lianshanpo Station → Transfer to L13 bus → Dong'an Lake Sports Park Station
2. Subway Line 2 → Lianshanpo Station → Transfer to Bus No. 863 → Checheng Avenue Shutu Road Intersection Station → Walk to the West Gate of Dong'an Sports Park
3. Subway Line 2 → Jiepai Station → Transfer to Bus L026 → Checheng Avenue Shutu Road Intersection Station → Walk to the West Gate of Dong'an Lake Sports Park
Take Metro Line 2 to Lianshanpo Station or Jiepai Station. After exiting the station, you can take a shuttle bus (it leaves when full, the journey takes about 15 minutes) to Huanxipo Parking Lot. After getting off the bus, walk to Dong'an Lake Sports Park.
4. K6, K7 Bus Rapid Transit: Get off at Dong'an Lake Station and walk 200 meters to the north gate of Dong'an Lake Sports Park.
5. Shuttle bus arrangement: After the concert, the audience can go to Huanxipo parking lot and take a free bus to Lianshanpo subway station on Metro Line 2.
Online car-hailing and taxi waiting areas
1. Park the vehicle on the west side of Tiyu Park Road (from Auto City Avenue to Muqian Lane) and wait for passengers, with the front of the vehicle facing east. After picking up passengers, drive away from the concert site via North Lakeside Road - Auto City Avenue or Kuahu Road.
2. Wait for passengers on the south side auxiliary road of the first section of Shudu Avenue East (east of the north gate), with the front of the vehicle facing east. After picking up the passengers, drive through the auxiliary road of the first section of Shudu Avenue East - Sports Park Road - Sports Park Road Shudu underpass and leave the concert venue.
Special reminder: Section 1 East of Shudu Avenue is an urban expressway with high vehicle speeds. For your safety, please do not cross the road and do not pick up or drop off passengers on the main road.
Self-driving line parking area
1. Huanxipo Parking Lot: If you are driving from Chengdu, when there is congestion on the East Section of Shudu Avenue, it is recommended to take the Third Ring Road Shiling Interchange → Chengluo Avenue → Xihe Avenue → Sports Park Road to reach the parking lot.
2. Dong'an Lake Sports Park P1 parking lot: It is recommended to take the exit of Sports Park Road, Section 1 East of Shudu Avenue → the auxiliary road of Section 1 East of Shudu Avenue → the east gate of Dong'an Lake Sports Park to enter the parking lot
3. Dong'an Lake Sports Park P2 Parking Lot: If you are driving from Chengdu, when there is congestion on the East Section of Shudu Avenue, it is recommended to go through the Third Ring Road Shiling Interchange → Chengluo Avenue → Xihe Avenue → Sports Park Road → Dong'an Lake Sports Park West Gate to enter the parking lot.
