On August 6, the Department of Natural Resources of Guangdong Province and China Unicom Guangdong Branch signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Jointly Promoting the Construction of a "Strong Marine Province". The reporter learned that the two parties will cooperate in many fields such as strengthening the construction of digital marine public infrastructure, improving the integrated marine monitoring network of sky, land and sea, building a Guangdong marine new quality productivity incubation base, innovating new models for the supply of marine resource elements, and building a public service platform for Guangdong's marine industry, so as to jointly help build a new maritime Guangdong.
Hu Jianbin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources, said that the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources will give full play to the linkage effect between government and enterprises, further deepen the mutual trust and cooperation with Guangdong Unicom in the fields of smart ocean construction, marine disaster monitoring and early warning, and comprehensive management of sea areas and islands, and comprehensively improve Guangdong's marine informatization, digitalization, intelligence and refined management level.
Hao Liqian, Party Secretary and General Manager of Guangdong Unicom, said that Guangdong Unicom will take the signing of this agreement as a new starting point to deepen multi-level and multi-field business exchanges and cooperation with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources, give full play to the industry's technological and talent advantages, and further use emerging technologies such as 5G, Internet of Things, and big data to fully empower Guangdong's smart ocean construction.
