Developer Digital Sun launched its construction sandbox strategy game Cataclismo into Early Access on Steam on July 22 and has sold 120,000 copies to date.

Tim Bender, CEO of game publisher Hooded Horse, praised the success of this light real-time strategy game and emphasized that the game currently has a user approval rating of 93% on Steam (according to SteamDB at the time of writing, the approval rating was only 89.15%, but it is still "very positive"). He said: "We are honored to serve as the publisher for the excellent development team at Digital Sun."

"Fortress of Calamity" is the fastest-selling game in the developer's history to reach 100,000 copies.

The highest-rated game under its umbrella. The studio concluded: "Thanks to all the Hoggards (players) for their support!"

Hooded Horse has once again achieved its second excellent result in 2024 with this game. Previously in May, "Lords of the Manor" developed by Slavic Magic sold more than 2 million copies in 3 weeks, far exceeding the publisher's expectations.

"Fortress of Disaster" is priced at 99 yuan in the Chinese region of Steam and supports simplified Chinese.
