On August 4, the 100-day countdown launch ceremony for the 15th China Airshow was held in Zhuhai, marking the start of the final sprint stage for all preparations for this year's airshow.
At the event, Sun Jiefeng, Chairman and General Manager of Zhuhai Airshow Group Co., Ltd., introduced the highlights of this year's air show. The wonderful video "Airshow, We Are Ready!" was played on site, and international exhibitors such as Boeing, Embraer, MTU, and the American exhibition group, the Russian "Warrior" flight demonstration team, and relevant air show support units such as customs, border inspection, and China Aviation Oil introduced the preparations.
It is reported that the 15th China Airshow will be held at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center from November 12 to 17 this year. This year's airshow will achieve innovative breakthroughs such as "explosive doubling of exhibition space", "hard-core presentation of air, space, sea and land", "more open international exchanges", "shining debut of unmanned systems", and "direct rail transit to the exhibition hall", striving to create a "smoother, more exciting, and more common dreams" blue sky event.
This year's air show will use 13 exhibition halls, with an indoor exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, a 20% increase from the previous 100,000 square meters; the outdoor exhibition area is about 230,000 square meters; the Doumen Lianzhou "Unmanned System Demonstration Area" will be opened for the first time, including the "Unmanned Ship Demonstration Area" and the "UAV Demonstration Area"; 47 countries and regions will participate, and there will be nearly 800 exhibitors from home and abroad, of which Russia, France, the United States, and Saudi Arabia will participate in the exhibition in the form of exhibition groups, and world-renowned aviation companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell, Embraer, Safran, and Thales will all appear.
This year's air show will focus on cutting-edge topics such as low-altitude economy, commercial aerospace, and sustainable aviation, hold a number of conferences and forums, and invite industry authorities, well-known domestic and foreign guests, industry experts, and representatives of key enterprises to participate in an in-depth interpretation of industry development trends and share cutting-edge technological achievements. The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and related units will hold a series of high-level and high-level conferences and forums such as the Zhuhai Forum, the China Airshow Forum, and the Central and Southern General Aviation Development Forum; during the exhibition period, B2B business negotiations, exhibitor roadshows, major signings and other activities will also be held to actively build a professional platform for technical exchanges and economic and trade cooperation. Relevant units of the air show will invite foreign military and political delegations and business groups to visit. At the same time, Zhuhai will also hold aviation and aerospace carnival activities such as the Zhuhai Art Festival before, during and after this air show, creating a strong festive atmosphere with the "air show +" model.
This year's air show has set up theme areas such as the low-altitude economy hall and the civil aviation industry exhibition area, commercial aircraft industry exhibition area, commercial aerospace exhibition area, new materials and application exhibition area, and achievement transformation exhibition area. The exhibits cover the entire field of "land, sea, air, space, electricity, and network". A group of "high, precise, and cutting-edge" exhibits representing the world's advanced level are collectively unveiled, especially the exhibits of domestic exhibitors. The structure, grade, and quality of the exhibits are further optimized. The Chinese Air Force, Army, Navy, etc. will send the most advanced active equipment for display. The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the National Space Administration, and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, China Aviation Engine Corporation, China North Industries Group Corporation, China North Industries Group Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, China Electronics Information Industry Group Corporation, China Shipbuilding Corporation and other central enterprises will bring more new exhibits, new technologies, and new achievements to the exhibition on a large scale. For the first time, this air show will create a new integrated dynamic demonstration pattern of "air, space, sea and land", presenting "manned + unmanned", "on-site + remote", "land + sea" performance forms, bringing a series of wonderful and shocking dynamic performances to the audience.
Russia's "Warrior" aerobatic team will return to the China Air Show after an absence of 8 years. It will send 6 Su-35S fighters to form a formation to perform with the Chinese Air Force's "August 1st" and "Red Eagle" aerobatic teams. Star models of civil aircraft such as Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China will also perform flight demonstrations. At the same time, there will also be wonderful flight performances by drones in the "UAV Demonstration Area" of Doumen Lianzhou, and Xiaopeng Huitian's "Land Aircraft Carrier" drone and other equipment will make their global "debut".
In the water unmanned boat demonstration area, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Academy of Aerospace Electronics Technology, Yaguang Technology, and Yunzhou Intelligent Technology will participate in the performance, and will send medium and small unmanned boats to conduct maneuverable navigation demonstrations.
The ground equipment dynamic demonstration area of this air show will continue to optimize the scene layout. China North Industries Group Corporation and China North Industries Group Corporation will send a variety of new land equipment for systematic and intelligent dynamic demonstrations.
In addition, this year's air show will continue to empower the air show through high-tech technologies such as AR/VR and AI, and launch services such as multilingual translation, naked-eye 3D viewing of the air show, and light navigation. Further optimize the "Cloud Air Show", give full play to the role of the online display and exchange platform, promote online economic and trade docking, and help create a "Digital Air Show". At the same time, with the opening of the Jinhai Bridge and the urban rail, this year's air show will create a new three-dimensional transportation system, greatly shortening the distance from Hengqin and Zhuhai city to the air show center, and achieving smoother and faster transportation.
