According to the characteristics of the area in the park, the Temple of Heaven Park recently planned and recommended three cool tour routes, and equipped more than 70 new chairs to make the visitor's visit to the park more comfortable and cool.
The Temple of Heaven consists of two altars, the southern one with the Echo Wall and the Circular Mound as the main attractions, and the northern one with the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests as the main building. "Many tourists who are new to the Temple of Heaven or those who love ancient architecture usually choose the Danbi Bridge as the main route to connect the two altars. In addition, as a place of worship during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Temple of Heaven was planted with trees at the beginning of its construction to set off the solemn and elegant atmosphere of the altar." The relevant person in charge of the Temple of Heaven introduced that, in combination with the needs of tourists, the park has planned three routes to cool down in the summer, so that tourists can avoid the "summer heat" and swim in the shade.
The reporter noticed that except for the main scenic spots along the central axis of the Temple of Heaven, the areas along the three cooling routes are all located under the shade of ancient trees or in shaded areas covered by corridors.
All three routes include the ancient tree area on the west side of the Danbi Bridge, where there are more than 100 ancient trees and benches for tourists to rest under the shade of the trees. Tourists can not only visit the scenic spots of the central axis of the Temple of Heaven from a close distance while avoiding the summer heat, but also understand and feel the charm of the ancient trees as "living" cultural relics of the Temple of Heaven. In addition, the Moon Gate, which is located on the west side of the Echo Wall and complements the Welcoming Cypress, is also a must-go for the three cool routes. Avoid the lively atmosphere on the central axis of the Temple of Heaven, and walk through the Moon Gate accompanied by the Welcoming Cypress to feel the tranquility and comfort of the Temple of Heaven after the summer bustle.
Among the three routes, tourists entering and exiting from the East Gate can choose to walk through the corridor to officially start the tour of the Temple of Heaven. The corridor is not only shaded and ventilated, but also has its own benches, where tourists can take a short break, enjoy the scenery, look at the colorful paintings, or relax and talk. Tourists entering and exiting from the West Gate can not only feel the coolness of walking under the Chinese scholar tree in the West Second Gate, but also add a trip to the "Little Palace of the Temple of Heaven" - Zhai Palace to their trip to the Temple of Heaven. Zhai Palace is located in the West Second Gate of the Temple of Heaven. It was the place where the emperor fasted before offering sacrifices in ancient times. When visiting, tourists are surrounded by the various landscapes of Zhai Palace, looking for a sense of tranquility and freshness.
In order to better serve tourists visiting the park during the summer, in addition to three cool sightseeing routes, the Temple of Heaven Park has also arranged 74 new chairs in the ginkgo tree area at the north second gate of the park, on both sides of the south square of the Circular Mound, in the Huajia Gate area, and in the ancient Berlin wall west of the Echo Wall, where tourists gather to escape the summer heat and cool off, to meet the needs of tourists for sightseeing and rest.
The reporter learned that the newly arranged chairs are mainly placed in a way that they are not fixed in the ground with a large counterweight design. On the one hand, it ensures the safety of tourists during their rest, and on the other hand, it is more flexible and can be placed at the corresponding points according to different needs. At the same time, in order to serve tourists with wheelchairs, baby strollers, etc., the park has also added barrier-free family chairs.
