Red Net News Changde August 6th(Reporter Zhang Xin and Gu Xin) On July 29, the final review of the 38th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition with the theme of "Dare to shoulder the mission of the times and promote high-level self-reliance and self-improvement" was successfully concluded in Tianjin. Zhang Dongcheng, a student from Changde No. 7 Middle School, performed well in the competition and won the first prize of the Youth Science and Technology Innovation Project and two special awards.
This competition is co-organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government. More than 700 young people and science counselors from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as more than 60 specially invited representatives from 20 countries around the world participated in the competition.

The National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition is an activity for selecting science and technology innovation reserve talents among primary and secondary school students and for displaying and exchanging science and technology education achievements.
