Western Digital to participate in FMS 2024 Summit to showcase mainstream client PCIe 5.0 SSDs

IT Home reported on August 6 that Western Digital announced today that it will participate in the FMS 2024 Summit to be held from August 6th to 8th local time, and will exhibit a number of new storage products.

Client Field

Western Digital will demonstrate "mainstream PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD products for AI computers, gaming devices, workstations, laptops and other mobile client computers" on site.

Data Center Field

Western Digital will not only exhibit the PCIe 5.0 SSD Ultrastar DC SN861 and 64TB SSD Ultrastar DC SN655+ released in June, but will also 128TB Ultra-High Capacity SSDtechnology demonstration.

The 128TB SSD uses the new generation BiCS8 QLC NAND flash memory and is expected to be based on the previously launched 2Tb capacity particles.

Automotive

Western Digital will launch two new automotive-grade products, AT EN610 and iNAND AT EU752.

AT EN610 adopts M.2 1620 BGA form factor and is equipped with TLC NAND flash memory with a maximum capacity of 1TB.All or part of the storage space can be configured in high-endurance SLC mode, designed specifically to meet the stringent requirements of the next generation of high-performance central computing architectures in automobiles.


iNAND AT EU752 uses BiCS8 NAND flash memory, and its maximum capacity is also 1TB.Compliant with UFS 4.0 specificationIt also supports additional features such as automatic data refresh and 100% content pre-burning, and is aimed at autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.


Consumer sector

Western Digital will bring ultra-large capacity memory card products to consumers, including 4TB SanDisk microSDUC UHS-I memory card and 8TB SanDisk SDUC UHS-I Memory Card

In the field of consumer solid-state drives, Western Digital's 16TB mobile solid-state drive concept product and 16TB SanDisk backup cube desktop solid-state drive will also make their debut.
