Nandu News: A new Sam's Club will be located in Baiyun, Guangzhou. On the morning of August 5, Guangzhou Baiyun Urban Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Sam's (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for an investment cooperation agreement at the Baiyun District People's Government, marking that the first Sam's Club in Baiyun District will be located in Jiahe and will strive to open in October 2026.

Nandu reporters learned at the meeting that the first Sam's Club in Baiyun District is located on the north side of Wanggang Avenue, Jiahe Wanggang, the northern expansion area of ​​Guangzhou Design City, which belongs to the core business area of ​​Jiahe Wanggang, Baiyun New Town, and is the intersection of Metro Line 2, Line 3, and Line 14. The total land area is about 45,462 square meters, the total construction area is about 48,150 square meters, and about 1,100 parking spaces are built. It is planned to build the first green-building three-star Sam's Club in Guangzhou. The project is scheduled to start construction in October 2024.

Huang Shufeng, general manager of Guangzhou Baiyun Urban Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Nandu reporters that the establishment of the first Sam's Club in Baiyun District will not only provide high-quality modern commercial shopping services for local residents, but also help promote the development of modern urban consumer industries in Baiyun District.
