According to Fast Technology on August 5, today, the running score of the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 engineering machine appeared on the Geekbench running score website.

The relevant page shows that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4's single-core score is 2884 and its multi-core score is 8840.

Compared with the competing Apple A17 Pro, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4's single-core score is closer to that of the A17 Pro, while its multi-core score is far ahead (the A17 Pro's single-core score is around 2900 points, and its multi-core score is around 7300 points).

It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 adopts a 2+6 architecture design, in which the CPU main frequency of 2 super-large performance cores is as high as 4.09GHz, and the CPU main frequency of the other 6 cores is 2.78GHz.

According to previously leaked information, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 bid farewell to the Arm public version solution and adopted the self-developed Oryon CPU architecture, which was designed by the NUVIA team.

In addition, Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will be the first to adopt TSMC's second-generation 3nm process. This is the first 3nm mobile phone chip in the Android camp. The new product will be officially unveiled in October and will be first equipped with the Xiaomi 15 series.

It is worth noting that the price of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will increase. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that the price of Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is 25%-30% higher than the current flagship chip Snapdragon 8 Gen3, ranging from US$190 to US$200.
