IT Home reported on August 5 that last week a netizen photographed a Tesla Cybertruck undergoing FSD testing in Florida, indicating that the FSD function will soon be available on this unique electric pickup truck.

Tesla plans to launch FSD Supervised software for Cybertruck later this month, and the test witnessed in Florida is part of this plan. Tesla is currently gradually pushing FSD v12.5 version to its models, and this version is expected to be the first FSD version to land on Cybertruck.

IT Home noted that Tesla CEO Musk said last week,Cybertruck will get FSD capabilities in the next two to four weeksThe specific time depends on the progress of the test. Although FSD v12.5 has begun to be pushed to Model Y models equipped with HW4 chips, it has not yet covered HW3 models. However, Musk expects this situation to improve within this week.

It is worth mentioning that due to the relatively low production of Cybertruck, Musk has previously stated that this model has a lower priority in FSD development. However, with the increase in production capacity of the Texas factory, the delivery volume of Cybertruck has gradually increased, and Tesla also began to provide test drive services in some areas a few weeks ago.
