After more than 10 years of testing experience, the official version of the classic zombie apocalypse survival game "7 Days to Die" was just launched on multiple platforms Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on July 25. The official recently announced the player data and expressed great shock and disbelief.

"7 Days to Die" was launched in early access on PC Steam in 2013. It is an open world game that combines first-person shooting, horror survival, tower defense and role-playing elements. Players live in a cruel world where zombies are rampant after the end of the world. In the game, players will explore abandoned towns, collect various materials to build weapons and tools, work hard to complete tasks, build strongholds that can resist zombie attacks, and repel zombies that arrive in cycles of seven days.

According to official data, with the recent launch of the official version, the number of players for the PS5 version exceeded 75,000, and the number of players for the Xbox Series X|S version exceeded 70,000. The peak number of online players on Steam even exceeded 120,000. The developers were shocked that a game more than 10 years old could achieve this result.

In addition, the official said that the cross-platform function of the game will be implemented in the fourth quarter of this year, so stay tuned.
