Nandu News: On August 4, the 100-day countdown launch ceremony for the 15th China Airshow was held in Zhuhai, revealing the opening of the Doumen Lianzhou "Unmanned System Demonstration Area" for the first time, the return of the Russian "Warrior" flight demonstration team to the China Airshow, and the global "debut" of equipment such as "Land Carrier" UAVs. This year's air show will be held in Zhuhai from November 12 to 17 this year. By then, 47 countries and regions, nearly 800 domestic and foreign exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, and will achieve innovative breakthroughs such as "exhibition space fission multiplication", "air, space, sea and land hardcore presentation", "unmanned system shining debut", and "rail transit direct to the exhibition hall".

According to reports, this year's air show will use 13 exhibition halls, with an indoor exhibition area of ​​120,000 square meters, a 20% increase from the previous 100,000 square meters; the outdoor exhibition area is about 230,000 square meters; the Doumen Lianzhou "Unmanned System Demonstration Area" will be opened for the first time, including the "Unmanned Boat Demonstration Area" and the "UAV Demonstration Area", and a second exhibition area will be opened in Jinfengtai.

Judging from the exhibition situation, this air show has attracted 47 countries and regions, with nearly 800 exhibitors from home and abroad. Among them, Russia, France, the United States, and Saudi Arabia will participate in the exhibition in the form of exhibition groups. World-renowned aviation companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell, Embraer, Safran, and Thales will all appear.

At the same time, this air show will focus on cutting-edge topics such as low-altitude economy, commercial aerospace, and sustainable aviation, hold a number of conference and forum activities, and invite industry authorities, well-known domestic and foreign guests, industry experts, and representatives of key enterprises to participate in an in-depth interpretation of industry development trends and share cutting-edge technological achievements.

　"Land aircraft carrier" drone will make its global debut

A series of theme areas will be set up at this air show, including the Low-altitude Economy Hall, Civil Aviation Industry Exhibition Area, Commercial Aircraft Industry Exhibition Area, Commercial Space Exhibition Area, New Materials and Applications Exhibition Area, and Achievement Transformation Exhibition Area. The exhibits will cover the full range of fields such as land, sea, air, space, electricity, and the Internet. A group of "high, precise, and cutting-edge" exhibits representing the world's advanced level will collectively appear. In particular, the exhibits structure, grade, and quality of domestic exhibitors will be further optimized.

For example, the Chinese Air Force, Army, and Navy will display their advanced equipment in service. The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the National Space Administration, and state-owned enterprises such as the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation will bring more new exhibits, new technologies, and new achievements to the exhibition. Some exhibits will be "first exhibited and shown" to fully display the innovative achievements in my country's aerospace and defense fields. For the first time, this air show will create a new integrated dynamic demonstration pattern of "air, space, sea and land", presenting performances in the forms of "manned + unmanned", "on-site + remote", and "land + sea".

Among them, the Russian "Warrior" aerobatic team will return to the China Air Show after an absence of 8 years. It will send 6 Su-35S fighters to form a formation and perform with the Chinese Air Force's "August 1st" and "Red Eagle" aerobatic teams. Star models of civil aircraft such as Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China will also perform flights.

At the same time, the "UAV Demonstration Area" in Lianzhou, Doumen will hold a drone flight show. In the water unmanned boat demonstration area, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Academy of Aerospace Electronics Technology, Yaguang Technology, and Yunzhou Intelligent Technology will participate in the show, and will send medium and small unmanned boats to demonstrate maneuverability. The ground equipment dynamic demonstration area will continue to optimize the scene layout, and China North Industries Group Corporation and China Ordnance Equipment Group Corporation will send a variety of new land equipment for systematic and intelligent dynamic demonstrations.

　The first direct rail transit to the air show

Through continuous empowerment of high-tech technologies such as AR/VR and AI, this year's air show will launch services such as multilingual translation, naked-eye 3D viewing of the air show, and light navigation. On the basis of further optimizing the "Cloud Air Show", the online display and exchange platform will be fully utilized to promote online economic and trade docking and help create a "Digital Air Show".

It is worth noting that with the opening of the Jinhai Bridge and the second phase of the Zhuhai-Macao Intercity Railway at the beginning of this year, this year's air show will create a new three-dimensional transportation system, which will greatly shorten the distance from Hengqin and Zhuhai city to the air show center, achieve smoother and faster transportation, and continuously enhance the exhibition and visiting experience of exhibitors and visitors.
