1. Design:
Burnt cedar is a common building material in Japan, showing a simple and rustic feeling

Taiwan's four seasons are relatively hot.

When the light trails cling to the burnt cedar

The hot sun falls on the carbon black material

As if the silver lines were drawn

In the dark tone, there is actually a soft texture.

Burning cedar is done by dry burning

Carbonize the surface and change the internal structure

Can achieve natural moisture-proof, anti-corrosion and insect-proof effects

However, due to the burning, the board is easy to crack and break when it is used to make the wall.

Before locking the building

A layer of protective paint must be applied first to avoid black carbon stains

To highlight the dark cabinet

The original solid masonry wall was replaced with an iron mesh boundary, and the original flowerbed was abandoned.

Give way to cement floor for the vestibule

The skylight also hangs the glass outward, eliminating the oppressive feeling of traditional iron covers.

The second floor terrace is made of cement wall, with a deliberately angled corner.

Place a green plant and let time slow down in front of your door

2. First floor entrance design:
Since the single-story area is only 46.2 square meters, there is not much room for entry

It is enough to create a porch, and then go along the right side of the wall

Build a walnut hollow cabinet, leaving a shallow platform

Small items can be placed and stored, and the cabinet surface can be chamfered

The arc is closed with the upper beam, which weakens the heavy feeling of the cabinet

3. First floor living room design:
The homeowner hopes to have a grand and substantial TV wall.

Because the living room is adjacent to the kitchen and dining room

To expand into an open area, partition wall function must be introduced

Double-sided cabinet with a thickness of 35 cm

The hollow layer shows the sense of transparency

Lay thin bricks of size 60 and 120 on the surface

Bring in natural texture

It just shows the logic of matching similar materials indoors and outdoors

But the entry-level scene is not actually on the TV wall

The left wall

I hope to focus on the first glance and outline the situation in a simple way.

The white grille is chosen as a different material to weaken the wood tone.

The straight-line wall lamp and linear light reflect soft light

A closer look reveals the outer arc of the TV wall and the inner arc of the sofa.

Double arcs bring a sense of daily ritual

4. First floor dining and kitchen design:
If the whole room is covered with walnut, it may cause a short and narrow

In order to eliminate the heavy dark color, the upper cabinets are painted with walnut wood grain.

Continuing from the 190 cubicle partition wall material, forming a beautiful area

But the lower cabinets are changed to dark colors to stabilize the cabinets

Forming a stainless steel island

A U-shaped food preparation area surrounded by the cooking station

I hope the island will retain the cozy feeling of a bar

Intentionally leave a 4 cm height difference

Whether standing or sitting in the kitchen area, a relaxed atmosphere emerges

5. Design of parents' room on the first floor:
A pure wooden space with walnut and wooden shutters

With zero hardware handles, it is perfectly transformed into a full Japanese-style room

Deliberately vertical and horizontal texture

The handle is exposed and 5 tatami mats are woven together

The staggered dark seams echo the horizontal and vertical handles.

Make it a parent's room

With a beautiful atmosphere, it feels like walking into a Kyoto hotel

6. Second floor master bedroom design:
The second floor is the owner's private area

Divided into master bedroom, living room, dressing room, master bathroom

As soon as you step onto the second floor, a dark bedside table is a striking sight.

The block-shaped wooden wall cabinets are used above

Bring out the sense of region in a simple and neat way

To preserve the original intention of integrating architecture and interior

The original beams and columns are exposed and brought from the master bedroom to the living room

Apply a layer of protective paint, no need to worry about dust falling off

When the rough nature emerges

Then write Japanese lines and knead the cloth to form the back wall of the bed

Shaped like an integrated bed frame

Track lights illuminate the delicate facade of Smartcoat

The warmth you feel while sleeping moisturizes your daily mood

7. Second floor living room design:

Because the rough beams fall on the opposite side of the sofa

In addition to the H-shaped steel columns,

The back wall uses rusty iron system panels, which radiate a slight golden halo.

Matches with the golden sofa

The side cabinet of the sofa is extended to provide a place for pets to sit and lie down, and can also be used as a side table.

In order to build a wall to accommodate the TV hanging

A closed compartment that does not create the original house condition

Casting floating iron wall

Then use large bricks to cover the surface, the size is more suitable for the dressing table on the opposite side

Forming a perfect medium between the two domains

8. Second floor dressing room design:
The upper and lower cabinets in the dressing room continue the cabinet technique

Wood grain is arranged on the top and black cabinet surface is placed on the bottom

Two backgrounds create a uncluttered and calm environment

And adopt an open narrative to reduce the sense of oppression of an independent corner

9. Second floor master bathroom design:
The homeowner hopes to introduce double basins and bathtubs

So mud was used for brickwork, and the niche was also double-sided.

Create a rich Japanese aesthetic

The bottom of the wash basin is made of travertine tiles with a slightly porous texture.

Complemented by terrazzo tile facades and floors

The towel bar is screwed into the side and is similar in shape to the living room light strip

Unique fun can be found everywhere

Square windows are outward-pushing

Green plants and fragrances can be placed, and a rain shelter can be built outside

No need to worry about water leakage

Because when taking a bath, you will be half sitting and half lying

Choose aluminum recessed lights to create a diffuse and even light experience, outlining the bathing atmosphere
