The cadres from central government agencies, central enterprises and other units in Beijing who are assisting Xinjiang attended the special screening and watched the film. The cadres and the main creative representatives of the film "Akedala", including director Zhang Zhong, producer Zhan Mengyao, and post-production supervisor Liu Xiaozhu, conducted a multi-faceted discussion on the theme of the film, the experience of assisting Xinjiang and the spirit of assisting Xinjiang.

Since 1996, tens of thousands of cadres from all over the country have rushed to Xinjiang to promote the gathering of various policies, funds, technologies, talents and other resources to Xinjiang, making important contributions to the realization of long-term stability and high-quality development in Xinjiang. The film "Akedala" is adapted from the award-winning novel "Cadres in Xinjiang" of the "Five One Project" of the Central Propaganda Department. It is based on the aid work of 19 provinces, cities and relevant central units in Xinjiang, and uses cotton planting as a carrier. Through the real life and artistic image of the cadres in Xinjiang, it tells the touching story of how they left their hometowns, bid farewell to their relatives, and took Xinjiang as their second hometown with love and responsibility, and regarded people of all ethnic groups as their relatives, and worked together with people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang to take root in the frontier and dedicate their youthful strength.

Qin Zhengui, director of the Film Script Planning and Planning Center of the Central Propaganda Department, said that the production team of the movie "Akedala" captured a film project with a keen artistic vision that has a strong realistic concern and condenses the hard work, sweat, and even life of countless cadres supporting Xinjiang. This is a realistic portrayal of in-depth study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's people-centered creative thinking, and a vivid practice of filmmakers bravely shouldering the new cultural mission of the new era.
