This morning (August 2), the State Council Information Office held a series of press conferences on "Promoting High-quality Development". The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Commerce said,We will support the cultivation of cross-border e-commerce brands and encourage cross-border e-commerce platforms to expand product categories and service functions.

In the first half of the year, the growth rate of my country's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 10.5%, 4.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of national foreign trade, and continued to maintain a steady growth momentum.Recently, data from a questionnaire survey conducted by the Ministry of Commerce showed that nearly 80% of cross-border e-commerce companies are optimistic about the growth momentum in the second half of the year.

In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will support cross-border e-commerce to empower the development of industrial belts and guide local governments to cultivate a number of development benchmarks.

In addition, we will vigorously develop "Silk Road e-commerce" and encourage cross-border e-commerce platforms to expand product categories and service functions. We will support the healthy development of consumer goods e-commerce platforms that mainly serve the C-end, and also support the innovative development of industrial equipment, semi-finished products, and parts e-commerce platforms that mainly serve the B-end.
