After the trailer of Ark 2 debuted in 2020, there has been little news about the game. In the Xbox Cologne Game Show plan blog published last night, it was mentioned that Xbox will provide a trial of Ark 2 at the Cologne Game Show, which made fans of the series excited. However, now Xbox has withdrawn the statement and said that this is a false information.

In Xbox's initial Gamescom plans blog post, it read: "The Xbox booth will also have playable games from our third-party partners, including Star Wars: Outlaws from Ubisoft, ARK 2 from Studio Wildcard..."

Now, however, any mention of Ark 2 has been removed, with an editor's note added to the bottom of the page: "Ark 2 was originally listed as a playable game at the Xbox booth - this information was incorrect and has now been removed."

The last news about "Ark 2" was in December 2023, when the official said that the game is expected to launch an early access version at the end of 2024.
