The Tarkov-like evacuation FPS Gray Zone Warfare has performed very well since its release on April 30, with sales exceeding 800,000 copies within a few weeks of its release.

Developer MADFINGER recently announced that it will release the next major update for the game at the Cologne Gamescom later this month. The update will include the much-anticipated day and night cycle; considering night combat, the official has not yet provided players with equipment and made corresponding adjustments to the AI behavior logic. The update will also provide some new weapons.

Not only that, the game will also receive some key improvements, including many changes requested by the community, from whom we have been gathering feedback on this game while it is still in Early Access.

This includes shortening the waiting time for the evacuation point. In Gray Zone Warfare, players need to call a helicopter to transport them to a designated location, including going from the base to the combat location and evacuating from the combat location. Because the game is real-time, the helicopter needs to fly for a while before reaching the designated evacuation point. The new update will shorten the player's waiting time to improve the overall experience.

The 2024 Cologne International Games Fair will be held from August 21 to 25.

The price of "Gray Zone War" in the Chinese Steam region is 128 yuan.
