According to developer Motion Twin on Twitter, the final content update of the popular rogue-like game "Dead Cells", "The End is Near", will be launched on PC and console platforms on August 19.

This update introduces new "Cursed Mobbs" that can place a curse on the player. Any attack can easily kill a player in the "Cursed" state, and the curse must be removed by killing the enemy.

New content also includes a new area called the Cursed Biomes, three new weapons, and nearly 20 new legendary enchants.

The studio will continue to fix bugs and other issues in the future, but the focus will be on the studio's next game, The Wind Walker. The Wind Walker is expected to be launched on Steam in the form of early access later this year. The game combines action Roguelite gameplay with a new and fast game experience. The game supports single-player challenges or group play.
