Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation announced the first batch of national "famous, special, excellent and new" recognition lists, and 106 individual industrial and commercial households in Nanshan District were selected.

In 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Development and Reform Commission and 15 other departments jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Carrying out Precise Assistance to Individual Industrial and Commercial Households by Type and Category to Improve Development Quality", and took personalized measures to classify and precisely assist individual industrial and commercial households. Individual industrial and commercial households with good development are classified into four categories: "famous, special, excellent and new", which refer to well-known, characteristic, high-quality and emerging; among them, well-known means that the product and service quality is good, has a certain brand influence, and is deeply loved by the masses; characteristic means relying on local unique industries and tourism resources to carry out tourism reception, traditional handicraft production, local specialty product sales, and special catering services; high-quality means inheriting traditional folk skills, persisting and operating for a long time; emerging means actively participating in new economic forms such as new technologies, new industries, new formats, and new models.

As of now, there are more than 170,000 individual businesses in Nanshan District. As an important part of business entities, individual businesses play an important role in promoting employment, increasing tax revenue and promoting innovation. The implementation of this targeted support policy based on classification will further stimulate the vitality and creativity of individual businesses and promote higher-quality development of the regional economy.

Among the 106 individual businesses registered in Nanshan, 12 businesses including Blantu's Plant Manor Food Business Department were included in the well-known category; 41 businesses including Jiujie Restaurant in Nanshan District, Shenzhen were included in the specialty category; 45 businesses including Liu Qipei Silhouette Studio were included in the quality category; and 8 businesses including Qinsheng Jewelry Design Studio were included in the "emerging" category. The first batch of individual businesses applying for "famous, special, excellent and new" have been announced through the "National Individual Business Development Network" (https://www.gtgsh.com/).
