Changzhou Mayor Sheng Lei and Beijing Jiaotong University School of Electronic Information Engineering Dean Ai Bo jointly unveiled the Yuanshi (Changzhou) Artificial Intelligence Joint Innovation Center, allowing artificial intelligence to better empower Changzhou's "trillion-dollar city to set off again."

On August 30, 2023, JBT, a leading domestic high-end robot company, joined hands with Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing, a company in Zhonglou District, to launch a standardized solution for AI digital quality inspectors "Gong Xiaojiang" to help further improve the company's intelligent production level. As an "expert" who entered the field of industrial quality inspection early, the AI ​​digital quality inspectors developed by Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing have accumulated rich quality inspection experience in 3C electronics, new energy vehicles, home appliances and other industries. In the same year, the Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing team launched the Gong Xiaojiang loading and unloading robot-Gong Xiaojiang digital material operator, and worked with Gong Xiaojiang AI digital quality inspectors to create a unified and complete closed-loop operation.

With the help of the quality inspection robot "Gong Xiaojiang", a precision machinery manufacturer in Jiangsu successfully completed the equipment online within 2 weeks, and realized one-click cutting and multiple inspections on one machine, reducing the missed inspection and over-inspection rates by nearly 30% compared with similar solutions. In addition to motors, Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing also enables the inspection of special materials such as aluminum castings, highly reflective objects, and battery housings in the core components of new energy vehicles. It is reported that nearly 70% of Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing's "Gong Xiaojiang" robots are used in the new energy industry.

On July 19, the internationally renowned consulting firm IDC released the "China AI-enabled Industrial Quality Inspection Solution Market Share, 2023". It is reported that Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing has achieved the first growth rate of AI industrial quality inspection market share throughout the year by leveraging technological innovation to create new applications and new scenarios, successfully jumping to the second place in the country, and accelerating the comprehensive empowerment of new industrialization by artificial intelligence.
