Tencent Technology News: Recently, AI robot company Astribot announced the completion of tens of millions of dollars in Pre-A round of financing, led by Matrix Partners, followed by industrial capital such as Daotong Investment and Qinghui Investment, and old shareholder Yunqi Capital. Huaxing Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor. This round of financing will be used for top talent recruitment, R&D investment, commercial deployment and other work.

Stardust Intelligence was established in Shenzhen in December 2022. It focuses on developing a new generation of AI robot assistants that can learn, think and work like humans, interact with people fluently and intelligently, use human tools and equipment, and help people complete boring, difficult or dangerous tasks. Lai Jie, founder and CEO of Stardust Intelligence, is the number one employee of Tencent RoboticsX Robotics Laboratory.

In April this year, Stardust Intelligence demonstrated the progress of its self-developed AI robot Astribot S1. With the support of a multimodal large model, S1 can autonomously complete complex tasks such as folding clothes, sorting items, cooking, vacuuming, and stacking cups through intelligent human-computer interaction, and improve its task generalization and migration capabilities through learning and evolution.

In terms of AI capabilities, the S1 robot has the ability to perceive, recognize, and make real-time decisions in complex environments, and generalizes common operations at the object, task, and environment levels. At the same time, Stardust Intelligence has achieved certain breakthroughs in the acquisition of embodied intelligence data. It can use existing real-world video data and human motion data to collect multi-dimensional high-quality data through the first person perspective, and realize human multi-modal data interaction such as vision, touch, hearing, and force perception.
