IT Home reported on July 31 that after Google announced the Android Cross-device service in May this year, it has now launched two features, Call casting and Instant hotspot, on Android devices.

How to enable: Users open Settings > Google > Devices and sharing > Cross-device services. During the setup process, they need to enable relevant options on the device with the logged-in account to establish a "device group".

Call casting

According to the official description, users can seamlessly switch call devices on devices logged in to their Google accounts. IT Home Note: This feature is currently only available for some apps, and certain data needs to be shared after switching devices.

Instant hotspot

After turning on Bluetooth and device positioning and logging in to a Google account, Wi-Fi hotspot information is shared between devices and users no longer need to connect manually.
