Blizzard recently announced that the "Infernal Hordes" season of Diablo IV will start at 1:00 am on August 7th, Beijing time. The subsequent chapter of Lilith's return to Sanctuary is about to be revealed, making the most unexpected allies and revealing the danger that the Realm of Hate will bring to Sanctuary. Defeat the legions of hell in the Infernal Hordes mode of the season or the Eternal Realm, which is a new mechanism that provides players with a challenge to unlimited monsters in waves of attacks.

Hell is coming with the army of Purgatory

The wrath of Hell rises with the Hell Tide, but this is only the beginning of the demon invasion. The servants of the Lord of Hate respond one after another, ready to serve forever.

After completing the questline at World Tier III, players can engage in Infernal Armies in Seasons and Eternal Realms, a mechanic that allows players to challenge endless offensives alone or with friends. Choose tempting Infernal Offerings that are both a blessing and a curse to enhance your challenge journey, and choose between offensives to increase the strength of enemies and the final reward. The number of Infernal demons is staggering, and it is even more difficult to estimate in the Realm of Hatred. Players have a limited number of rebirths when challenging the Infernal Armies. Once all are used up, they will be devoured by the minions of Hell.

Collect Fiery Souls from the Infernal Legion and unlock great rewards at the end of the challenge. After the final wave, prepare to fight the Corrupted Council with all your might, as each powerful corrupted priest has unique attacks. Once you win, use the Fiery Souls to unlock wonderful Hellish loot, including summoning materials, items with guaranteed powerful attributes, and a chance to get new unique and legendary items.

Hell breeds powerful enemies, and demons lurk in every corner to hinder your heroic adventure. Beware of the demon lords who may arrive with the army of Purgatory, they have a burning but unknown determination. There is a chance that the hellish version of the Butcher will appear, spreading destruction along the way.

Obtain or craft an Infernal Compass to unlock the Infernal Army. Each endgame in Sanctuary has a chance to drop an Infernal Compass. The Infernal Compass is divided into different levels, which can increase the difficulty of the Infernal Army accordingly.

Purgatory Tribute

The Infernal Army's attack lasts for 60 seconds. Survive with all your might to choose your Infernal Tribute. You can choose between three tempting choices to strengthen your Infernal Army and increase its strength, challenge higher difficulties and rich rewards. Please be careful and choose carefully, the effects of the Infernal Tribute will be combined throughout the entire Infernal Army challenge. These effects can be effective at the same time!

These various boons and calamities will persist even into your confrontation with the Corrupted Council, where their enhanced powers may lead to your undoing... or translate into a huge reward.

Flame Demon Soul

As countless infernal enemies attempt to overwhelm you from all sides, be sure to search for the most valuable item in the Realm of Hatred, the Flame Soul. Slay Soul Demons and Soul Lords, or destroy Soul Spires and Soul Aggregates to obtain Flame Souls. Destroying these enemies will reward you with 2 Flame Souls. Whether playing alone or in a group, Flame Souls are calculated independently, but your loyal pet will assist you in collecting Souls. You will not lose Flame Souls upon death, but once you have reborn, you will be immediately expelled from this unholy arena and will not be able to unlock Hell's loot.

Hell's Loot

Players who survive the endless hordes and defeat the Corrupted Council will receive Hell Loot, containing crafting materials and valuable items with powerful properties. These luxurious chests are also the easiest to drop, and feature new unique items that look like they were forged in Hell. The chests are filled with legendary and unique items, summoning materials, and gold. Hell Loot costs 20 Souls, but killing enough Infernal enemies and spending 60 Souls will unlock powerful gear loot, and you're guaranteed to get an item with powerful properties!

Purgatory Compass

The key to unlocking the Infernal Armies lies in the Infernal Compass, a dark device of esoteric knowledge that can open the gates of Hell. This demonic key item is divided into levels 1-8 and can be crafted at the Mystic using the Power of a Symbol and a Forgotten Soul. The Infernal Compass also increases the initial difficulty of monsters and the possible quality of rewards, while reducing your chances of resurrecting.

The Infernal Compass can be obtained by opening Mysterious Chests and Steel Chests, and it is guaranteed to drop from killing the Prophet in Hell Wave. In addition, there is a 75% chance of dropping it from Whispering Chests. Higher-level Infernal Compasses can also drop in end-game activities, such as Nightmare Dungeons and Secret Realms.

Wanderers who venture out into the world can obtain Abyssal Scrolls from all over Sanctuary. This way, they can use the scrolls to upgrade the Infernal Compass without returning to the city, increasing the strength of the compass while exploring the ends of Sanctuary.

Fight the Corrupted Priest

These Acolytes of Hate have been absent since the events of Diablo II, but have now returned to serve the demons they once swore to fight against. At the end of every Infernal Challenge, the Council of the Fallen will be present.

There are a total of 5 members of the Fallen Council, each with different unique abilities. Every time you fight the Fallen Council, they will randomly send out 3 different members to fight. Be careful to deal with their unique abilities and diverse combinations.

Inflict enough damage to the Corrupted Council and these priests will become more frantic in their attacks. Be careful if you want to stay alive.

Defeating the Corrupted Council will earn you a Flame Soul, the full amount of which depends on your World Tier. At that time, the Hell Loot will materialize in the room, waiting for you to spend the Flame Soul to unlock the rewards.

Battle the Infernal Demons in the Hell's Breach dungeon

Seasonal Realms introduce new Hell's Breach dungeons, giving you a taste of what's to come with the Infernal Forces mechanics. Find these eerie passages throughout the world.

In the Hell's Breach dungeon, you will encounter one of the events you may encounter when playing the Infernal Armies. As you advance through the levels, you will be able to choose whether to enable the Infernal Gift before the final battle. If you increase the difficulty, you will be rewarded with a rich Flame Soul. Wanderers must carefully weigh your choices, as increasing the difficulty may result in a full treasure chest, or death before the mission is accomplished.

Remember to spend your Fiery Souls to open the chests at the end of the Hell's Breach dungeon, or you'll lose these precious currencies as soon as you leave.

Get over 50 new unique and legendary items from Hell

The forges of the Burning Hells burn the hottest, allowing weapons to be crafted with incredible power. The Infernal Armies Season introduces over 50 powerful new unique and legendary items, granting players unparalleled power. Note that these weapons will remain available and can be obtained in both realms after the Season ends. Rumors are rife about these incredible weapons, many of which are said to have been born in the Burning Hells, and are supposed to contain the power to awaken Hell.

All new unique and legendary items can be found by slaying enemies across Sanctuary, but weapons of infernal power are most likely to appear as Hellish loot in the Infernal Army. Get these new infernal weapons and turn your Wanderer into a true Hell Warrior.
