Recently, Krafton, the developer of "Subnautica", announced that the third work in its "Unknown Worlds" series (the first two were "Subnautica" and "Subnautica: Below Zero"), "Subnautica 2", will adopt the "live service model", which has caused some players to worry.

However, the developers of "Subnautica" secretly released screenshots of the sequel more than ten days ago (about 12 days ago), but most players did not notice it at first.

The reason is that in the "Time Capsule" function of the first Subnautica game, the official uploaded screenshots of Subnautica 2. This confused many players, but some players also deduced that this was the content of the sequel, not a third-party MOD.

The moderator of the "Subnautica" sub-forum on the external forum reddit, "Bumblebee__Tuna", finally confirmed that these screenshots were from the sequel under development. From the official screenshots, a unique giant marine creature can be fully pieced together (although it may not be the same creature).
