Crime happened! He once again rushed to the front of the arrest

On May 5, 2007, Wang Dawei, then director of the Jinyintan Police Station of the Litong District Branch, and police officers found a suspicious vehicle during a night patrol. The driver was evasive when questioned. With years of experience, Wang Dawei and the police immediately conducted an inspection and seized 5,718 grams of heroin on the spot. They also tracked the suspects overnight and arrested two other suspects.

During his tenure as deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Litong District Police Station, Wang Dawei successfully completed the on-site command of many important security activities. He also focused on exploring and promoting the highlights and experiences of community policing reform, and many of his methods are still used today.

In May 2009, several cases of dairy cow theft occurred in Jinyintan. In order to solve the cases as quickly as possible, Wang Dawei led the police station and the criminal investigation team to work continuously for more than four months, arrested 21 criminal suspects, solved 113 criminal cases, and recovered the stolen dairy cows in time.
