PlayStation VR 2 has received its biggest price cut ever ahead of its much-anticipated PC compatibility launch, with the headset now available for up to 36 per cent off at retailers including Amazon UK and Smyths.

PSVR 2 hits lowest price point

At the time of writing, the PlayStation VR 2 is available on Amazon for £349, a significant reduction from its previous price of £529.99. A similar discount has been applied to the Horizon: Call of the Mountains bundle.

It is worth mentioning that Smyths offers a more cost-effective price of only £329.99.

PlayStation VR 2 will officially support the PC platform next month. To connect to the PC, you need to use the PlayStation VR2 headset PC adapter, which will be released on August 7th and priced at $59.99 / 59.99 euros / 49.99 pounds.

It should be noted that players also need a DisplayPort 1.4-compatible cable, a Steam account, and a PC that meets the minimum configuration requirements.

Sony specifically stressed that features like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (besides vibration) will not be available when playing the game on PC.
