Lilsimsie, a popular overseas streamer of The Sims, recently showed the game's "Heartbeat" expansion pack in a live broadcast, including many new furniture. One of the new decorative posters shows an elderly Sim jogging.

Lilsimsie laughed and said, "Why are old Sims encouraged to exercise? What are you doing!? That's mean." SimsGuruNinja, an EA developer in her live chat, responded, "Don't worry. Old people will die better soon." The live room exploded instantly, and the streamer asked him to explain what this meant. The developer replied, "It means old people (Sims) will love better soon."

It needs to be understood that in reality, it is natural to encourage the elderly to exercise properly to stay healthy. However, in The Sims, accidental death or heart disease caused by exercising again after "exercise" is the most common cause of death for elderly Sims.

However, The Sims has always hidden some Easter eggs of future content in the previous DLC. The inclusion of a poster of an elderly Sim doing aerobics in a DLC focused on love and romance is amazing, and coupled with the hints from the developers, many people think it is related to the next expansion. Creators, leakers, and even developers in the game community have also hinted at an expansion pack centered around "death."

Although EA has not confirmed any news about the expansion pack, the community generally believes that the expansion pack should be released around Halloween. Maybe it is not so serious, but to allow the deceased ghost Sims to have a love affair? After all, before, players can already become partners with the god of death.
