At 19:50 on July 25, this year's third typhoon "Gemei" made landfall on the coast of Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province.At 9 o'clock yesterday evening (25th), "Gemi" weakened from a typhoon to a severe tropical storm.At 5 o'clock this morning (26th), its center was located in Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, my country, that is, 25.8 degrees north latitude and 118.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed was 10 (28 meters/second) and the lowest central pressure was 977 hPa.

It is expected that "Gemi" will move toward the northwest at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour.It will move from Fujian to Jiangxi this evening and tonight, and then continue to move northward, gradually weakening in intensity.
