According to statistics from Securities Times Databao, in the past 10 trading days (July 12 to July 25), overseas institutions conducted research on 63 listed companies.

Judging from the number of overseas institutions participating in the survey, Lanqi Technology, Satellite Chemistry, and Optech are the most popular among overseas institutions, with 33, 28, and 27 institutions respectively. Among them, Lanqi Technology and Optech are both artificial intelligence concept stocks.

Lanqi Technology revealed the company's AI server-related products when it was interviewed by an institution. The company said that in the current mainstream AI servers, the company can provide products including memory interface chips, memory module supporting chips, etc., and both the product variety and product value have been greatly improved.

Satellite Chemical has received 4 institutional surveys this year. Satellite Chemical said that in the second half of the year, all of the company's facilities will maintain full-load stable operation, and the impact of the second quarter maintenance has been eliminated. At the same time, according to industry experience, the third and fourth quarters are traditional peak seasons for the chemical industry. The company is confident about the product prices and price spreads throughout the year, and the overall performance is expected to be better than last year.

During an institutional survey, Opt stated that after years of professional operation, the company has accumulated a large amount of data in the 3C electronics, lithium battery and other industries, which will help the company to quickly adjust and optimize the model, improve the accuracy and response speed of the model output results, and seize the development high ground in the field of deep learning technology in machine vision.

According to Databao statistics, in terms of performance, the performance of stocks surveyed by overseas institutions generally increased in the first half of the year. Among the 28 stocks that have announced performance forecasts or performance reports, based on the lower limit of the expected increase in net profit, 22 stocks are expected to achieve growth in net profit, and 3 stocks are expected to turn losses into profits, with the proportion of good news being nearly 90%.

The net profit of two power stocks, Shengyi Electronics and Lanqi Technology, is expected to increase by more than 600% year-on-year in the first half of the year, ranking first. The company's performance growth mainly benefited from the recovery of the global semiconductor industry in the first half of the year, and the electronics industry's profits increased significantly.

Shengyi Electronics' performance forecast shows that its net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in the first half of the year was between 93.5 million yuan and 110 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 876.88% to 1049.27%.

When the company was interviewed by an institution, it stated that the PCB technology used in AI servers is more advanced and complex. After preliminary preparations and continuous technological improvement and optimization, the company has achieved good results in this field.

According to Databao statistics, stocks researched by overseas institutions have collectively pulled back recently, with an average decline of 6.14% in the past 10 trading days. The valuations of some stocks are already low, such as Sinoma International, Changhong Meiling, Satellite Chemicals, etc. The latest rolling P/E ratios of five stocks are at the lowest point of the year. Other undervalued stocks that have received the most attention include Suzhou Bank and Weixing New Materials.
