Today (July 23), at Evo 2024, Riot technical director Tony Cannon confirmed to gaming media VG247 that Vanguard will be used in "2XKO".

Vanguard is an anti-cheating software from Riot Games. It was developed by Riot for the shooting game "Valorant" and was later introduced into "League of Legends".

"Players may be wary of anti-cheat programs having high-level system access, but without that, anti-cheat programs simply cannot perform their tasks," said Tony Cannon.

"2XKO" will be tested from August 8th to 19th. The test will only be held in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico. The expected test platforms are PC, XSX|S and PS5 platforms. The game will be released in 2025.
